Great showroom and really helpful staff. We visited on a very hot day to experience a glazed open plan extension with electric skylights and a Panoramah Swiss precision made double or triple glazed cornerless glazing system. The electric opening skylights really made a difference to the heat, when opened we immediately noticed the drop in temperature from the roof ventilation, which was one of our main requirements when choosing our glazing specifications. The ability to open and close the huge sliding doors easily was also very impressive, and not something you can experience on the Internet. We'll worth a visit in the early stages of planning your project.

We recently engaged IQ Glass to install various windows and doors at our house renovation. It was an absolute shambles of an experience. IQ could not have been more incompetent at every stage of the process: - they were consistently late to every agreed appointment - installers regularly left site early in order to fix problems at other sites - finished glass was installed two months late - terrible attitude when we phoned to complain - high staff turnover throughout the project We incurred tens of thousands of pounds of extra costs caused directly by their delays. Not only that, but our external doors are (still) leaking and IQ don’t seem at all interested in rectifying the situation. I could not implore you more strongly to avoid this company. They came with a terrible reputation for service and yet I have still been supremely disappointed.

Although the showroom is impressive (nearly as impressive as the cars in the executive reserved car parks - clearly this is a lucrative business), and the product is of high quality, its been a struggle dealing with them. Was told repeatedly (from the initial consultation) that production time is 10-12 weeks. However, initial design time (3 weeks) and survey time (1-2 weeks) and final review (another week and counting) is not included in the 10-12 weeks that is continually relayed to us (in truth total start to finish time is closer to 18 weeks). Although its in the Ts and Cs, it would have been VERY helpful if honest start to finish times were communicated clearly by the sales team. Also, initial design drawings had 24 errors (2 per window) and were delivered after the 3 week deadline. When i complained i was told they \were minor errors\ however it took my team over 5hrs to review and double check everything because of all the errors. Also, if it had gone into production these minor errors (wrong colour, windows opening the wrong way etc etc) would not have been so minor. The terms and conditions are there to protect them and only them. Tread carefully. UPDATE: business response was that they were waiting for my approval, which I sent yesterday. Also, i agree its in the terms and conditions, but my point of the review is that the salesmen did not tell the truth, or at least masked the truth.

My Client in SW London recently ordered a large horizontal sliding window from Hedgehog (IQ glass). Mark's team answered my Client's queries and specification with patience and perseverance as we had quite specific requirements. They attended site on the days agreed for the survey and the one day installation and with Razvan available to sweep up some final bits and pieces/ snagging the installation was satisfactorily completed. Of special note is that the window frame fitted with a very accurate 5 mm tolerance to each jamb which gave a very neat and tidy silicon joint. Michael Crook Architecture Limited
